Learning objectives of the course are analysis and evaluation of the manner in which research is conducted in management. The course is going to help the students to establish a unified analysis framework of management and to provide a unified framework and model base for the analysis to real life problems, as presented in group presentation and in class discussion (Class Participation). Coursework includes introduction to management and organization, organizational culture and the environment: the constraints, decision making: the essence of manager's job, foundations of planning, strategic management, planning tools and techniques, organizational structure and design, communication and information technology, human resource management, managing change and innovation, foundations of behavior, understanding groups and teams, motivating employees, leadership, foundations of control, operations and value chain management.
