?Senior Final Project/ Term Paper2020 Presidential ElectionPrimary and Candidate AnalysisThroughout the Fall of 2019 and Spring of 2020, nearly twenty-three individuals will seek out the Democratic Party’s nomination to run for President against incumbent, President Donald Trump. During our class time, we will investigate, analyze and document their journey through the Primary race of the fifty states and our territories.YOUR TASK: You will choose one Democratic candidate and compare this candidate with President Trump on several controversial topics using a list “hot topic” issues facing the nation. During the two semesters worth of Government, you will follow and research your candidate and their stance on the issues, as well as your position on these very issues. When you learn the topics and the Democratic Candidate’s stance on the topics, you will then compare this candidate with President Trump’s view or stance on said topic. This research paper will be your final for this class. You will be given the task of creating a well-developed and organized term paper. You will document their journey through the beginning of the Presidential nomination process and focus on their success or lack of success throughout the fall. We, your teachers, will guide you through the process of this term paper and assist you on every level in order to complete this task.
