How to Add a YouTube Video to Echo 360

You can use YouTube videos in Echo360. There are two methods. One it to add it into a media slide or the other way is to download the video and then add it to your library. In this document we will cover the latter. Note: The website supplied is the best we have found. Please pardon some of the adds. How to download a YouTube video

1. Open Google Chrome and type in the address bar 2. Navigate to your video. 3. Copy the URL for the video you wish to download 4. Open another tab in Google Chrome then enter this URL into the address bar then press

enter. 5. Paste the videos URL into the box provided.

6. Click on the Format Drop down arrow and Select MP4

7. Click the Start button. You will see the conversion is being processed. 8. Click the Download button. Once the video is downloaded to your PC you can add it to

your Echo360 library.

Warning Google Chrome was used to create these instructions. If you are using a different browser, the instructions may differ. Please do not use Internet Explorer for Blackboard.
