MODULAR MATE DEMONSTRATION

MODULAR MATE DEMONSTRATION

• Teach the “concept” of Modular Mates.

• Use the long shopping order form and refer to it as a “worksheet”.

• Why Modular Mates?? Once a customer has purchased the “core” products, they are finished. When they purchase Modular Mates, you have a customer for life!

• Offer sets!

Here’s my presentation…..

• I want to tell you about Modular Mates and how wonderful they are but I want to ask you a few questions.

1. Has anyone every eaten stale crackers, cereal or chips??? Modular Mates will keep your staple food fresh for an entire year!!

2. Have you ever been embarrassed to open up your cabinets in front of people in fear of everything falling out! Or do you feel like you don’t have enough cabinet space?? Modular Mates fit together like a puzzle. I am going to show you how to utilize 100% of your space by filling it up from front to back, top to bottom and side to side. You will be amazed at how much more you can store by using Modular Mates.

3. Has anyone ever had bugs in the kitchen? It has nothing to do with how clean you keep your kitchen or where you shop. Tupperware did a lot of research on this and they found out that bugs like to go on vacation! When you go to the store there may be one bag of flour with weevils in it. They will visit the bag next to it and the bag in front of it and before you know it you can come home more often than you realize with more than you bargained for! I recommend you do what I call the bug test. Put your product in a Modular Mate and leave it on your counter for 24 hours. These are virtually air tight and liquid tight containers. Bugs cannot get in and bugs cannot get out. When you check that Modular Mate the next day, if you had any bugs they are going to climb to the surface because they can’t breath but they will not be able to get out and will die on the surface. Now I know that sounds really gross and I don’t want to offend anyone. But do you know what’s worse? Those bugs being incorporated in your food and you not knowing it and cooking and consuming anyway.

• There are 4 different shapes: Rectangle, Square, Oval and Super Oval. My favorite shapes are the rectangle and super oval. The super oval fits perfectly on top. The depth is 11 ¾ inches. The standard depth of a cabinet is 12 inches. So this leaves exactly ¼ inch left to close the door. That is lesson #1 on how to fill up your space 100%. This completely fills up your cabinet from front to back.

• There are five different heights. A 5, 4,3,2, and a 1. Now here is lesson #2 in showing you how to fill up your cabinet from top to bottom. Who has a pantry? The average height of a panty is a 6. You can take the height of a 5 and add a 1 to it to give you the height of a 6. You could take a 4 and add a 2 to it and a 3 and a 3. I’m assuming the rest of you have cabinets. The average height of a cabinet is a 4. You can take just the height of a 4 or you could take a 3 and add a 1 to it. You could also take two 2’s or four 1’s. Now do you see how this works?

• Now what I would like to show you is what you can put in these containers. So if you would like to pull out the order form you can use it as a worksheet. When you see a container that you need in your kitchen you can put a little check mark beside the number and it will help you remember which one it is.

• The Rectangle height of a 1 is item # 141. This is your cookie box. It will fit a package of oreo cookies perfectly. It will hold any type of sandwich cookie and two packs of fig newtons.

• The Rectangle height of a 2 is item # 142 and it will hold up to 7 pounds of sugar. It will also hold 6 sleeves of saltine crackers.

• The Rectangle height of a 3 is item # 143 and it will hold 5 pounds of flour. This also makes a great chip box for potato chips, pretzels, cheetos, etc.

• The Rectangle 4 is item # 144. I know looks like a huge box and you are wondering what you would put in this. Well one part of my business is doing Custom Kitchens for people. It’s where I go in a make your cabinets and pantry look like the picture in the catalog. The first thing I recommend to my customers is to get rid of all their cardboard. The glue that holds the cardboard together is a smorgasbord for roaches and ants. Use this Rectangle 4 for all those boxes like cake mix, cookie mix, and hamburger helper. That way you still have the instructions.

• Super Oval height of a 1 is item # 221 is perfect for a one pound box of brown sugar or powdered sugar.

• Super Oval 2 is item # 222. It will hold 1 ½ pound of coffee beans. It’s great for coffee creamer, dried beans, and tea bags.

• Super Oval 3 is great for rice and pasta and is Item 123. Super Oval 4 is perfect for small boxes of cereal and saltine crackers – Item 124. And Super Oval 5 is for larger boxes of cereal and other large quantities.

• Does anyone have any questions about Modular Mates?

• The last thing I want to share with you is your choice of seal color. Blue or Passion. I recommend you pick a color you like. Don’t try to match you wallpaper or paint.
