On the blog, when student click each Chinese character, it will link to Arch Chinese online dictionary which will show the students how to pronounce, and write the Chinese characters. Pair share and small group: Pair the struggling students with higher ability student, group 3 pairs into a small group, assigned a small group leader. Each group will sit together working at the same question assigned. Individual assessment: Break down the task into small pieces, ask students to answer two questions out 7 in total. Teacher could assist troubled students not only in the library, but also beyond the classroom through making comments to guide students who are behind, and to challenge higher abled students to answer more questions. How Pupil Learning is Assessed and Analyzed: The teacher models how to create a google slide through projecting in on the screen, teacher also explains the basic technique needed to edit and modify the slides. During group discussion time teacher will walk around, and help the struggling students. During individual working time, teacher checks the google slides shared with each student make comments and suggests for improvement.Multiple resources are provided, hard copy text book, on line research, and a related you tube video is provided to assist comprehension.The students were grouped in small group of 4-6 with highly able students with the struggling ones. Through group discussion, promote peer scaffolding to assist comprehension as well.By checking the shared google slide from each student, teacher could assist and evaluate individual student comprehension.Practice on class and finish at home could reduce confusion at home.The survey which include questions not only the content related, but also the feedback of the class was designed by the teacher.Reflection on the Lesson’s Effectiveness: This class is the pretty satisfied by both the teacher and the students ( from the survey). Teacher by modeling how to make google slides, and break down tasks into small pieces: first, teacher guided students create a google slide document, a title slide, two slides with the questions on, then the students discuss in small group and fill in the answer in their previously made slides. Eventually finish all the rest of the questions at home.
