implement active, efficient and streamlined development strategy, processes and proceduresWork with the Director and PR Agencies to develop an integrated marketing communication strategy to fulfil the Biennial Development Committee and support any consultants or partners and ensure deadlines are met and follow-up actions delivered within agreed timescalesEnsure a high level of prospect and donor research is consistently produced across the team and the Development CommitteeWork with donors and sponsors to identify, introduce and secure new individual supporters for the Biennial Establish and maintain collaborative regional partnerships with corporate and individual cash and in-kind supportersAssist the Director and BDC to secure sponsors for each Biennial edition, helping to identify and cultivate contacts with complimentary brands and companiesWork with the Director, BDC and the wider Development staff to implement and properly administer an effective individual giving scheme for the Biennial, ensuring the effective delivery of associated benefitsEnsure that grant claims for funded projects are completed efficiently and that Biennial statutory funding is compliant with all relevant requirements and policiesWork alongside the team to regularly monitor on progress against targetsEventsPlan and oversee the delivery of Biennial events for funders and stakeholders such as the Biennial opening reception, artists dinner etc.Coordinate press tours with the Biennial’s PR agency and deliver hosting for press visitsOversee the production of VIP packs and press packsReporting and FinanceWork with the Director and the Head of Finance in the preparation of programme and project budgets and ensure income and expenditure targets are accurate and up to dateHold budgets for Development and Marketing income and expenditure Produce reports for the Director, Board and funders as required, including targets, progress and financial risk assessment on projected income where necessary Liaise with the Finance Officer to provide weekly short reports showing income against targetsReport to the Director on updated forecasts and strategies to achieve targets Manage the funding risk table, providing income forecasts and reconciling them with management accounts and cash-flow forecastsEnsure all income is generated in a tax efficient way, keeping abreast of any changes in regulations, and liaise with the Finance Department to ensure income is maximised wherever possibleProvide extensive market research through front end research, gathering statistics in relation to the
