Presentation date:

Assignment: Your group will pretend that you are going out to dinner at a Spanish-speaking restaurant. One person will be the waiter and/or chef. The remainder team members will be customers. Develop a skit where you order a meal, talk about the meal you ordered. Waiter/chef will record and serve the meal, then deal with a problem or unhappy customers. The skit will be preformed with a script.

Roles

• 2 or 3 customers, a Server (chef optional) with appropriate props

Script/performance requirements:

• 5 lines of “substance” per person –label with the name of the student and line number

• 2, 3 questions per person

• Greet each other at the table or server/chef

• Order food or drink

• Problem with order/unhappy customers

• Request/present bill

• Menu

• Script typed out for each student and 1 extra for the teacher

Waiter/chef pretends to serve the food, by name. After a minute, waiter/chef returns and asks if the food is ok.
