My Counting by 1s to 100 Chart - MargD Teaching Posters

Counting Trios

A short, sharp Junior grade activity used at the beginning or end of maths lessons, two or three times a week.

Children work in groups of threes to ‘drill’ each other on early counting skills.

← 1 child does the counting.

← 1 child checks against the reference sheet.

← 1 child is encourager and time keeper.

Each student should get a turn at all three roles each day.
