Good morning!

As you see, a large flock of pink flamingo’s have migrated to your front yard. This is by no accident…. your house was selected by a friend, family member, baseball acquaintance or Royal High School family member. Now you will also have the opportunity to participate in the fun.

This ‘Flamingo Flocking’ fundraiser is hosted by Royal Baseball Club as a very non-traditional way of raising money to support our boys baseball program and some fine young athletes. We figured our community would be tired of the same old candy sales and wrapping paper fundraisers so we are breaking the mold this year with something new and are asking for your participation.

How it works: Now that you’ve been flocked you get to choose where you’d like the flock relocated to. Dial our Flamingo Hotline at 805-582-4868 and leave a message that includes your name and address and the name and address of where you would like the flock moved and we will pick up the flock within 24-48 hours. The next recipient will then get the same opportunity to choose the next house, and so on and so forth.

Things to consider: Flocking is done in good spirit and is not meant to be a nuisance, malicious or disruptive in any way. We want to protect our flocks from theft and vandalism so we ask that you carefully choose the next recipient to ensure that they have a good sense of humor and support Royal High School, baseball or our local community.

Your donation: We are asking for a $25 flocking removal fee minimum to relocate the flock. You may also choose flocking insurance for an additional $10 to prevent another flamingo infestation of your yard. If you do not want to participate, please call our Flamingo Hotline and we will gladly pick up the flock at no cost.

The Paperwork: Please fill out the attached form and include it, along with your check payable to Royal Baseball Club, in the plastic bag and reattach it to the back of the yard sign.

Thank you for supporting Royal Baseball Club and our players as athletes and students. Your donations will be used toward field maintenance, equipment repair, umpire fees and other operational necessities. Our program does not receive any financial support from our school and is 100% reliant on our own fundraising efforts to continue operating.
