MINUTES OF MEETING WAGONER COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERSMonday, June 10th, 2013 The Board of Wagoner County Commissioners met with Chris Edwards, Chairman; Tim Kelley, Vice-Chairman; James Hanning, Member; Lori Hendricks, County Clerk; and Char Stevens, Secretary. Assistant District Attorney Holly Chapman was not present. Advance notice of the meeting was posted on bulletin boards and public entrances of the Wagoner County Courthouse on June 7th, 2013. Location: Wagoner County Courthouse, Commissioners Meeting Room The meeting was called to order by Commissioner Edwards at 9:00 a.m.Roll was called with the following responses: Hanning, present; Kelley, present; Edwards, present. The prayer was led by Judy Elliott and the pledge was led by Commissioner Hanning. A motion was made by Commissioner Kelley and seconded by Commissioner Edwards to approve minutes of meeting held June 3rd, 2013. The motion was approved with the following votes cast: Hanning, aye; Edwards, aye; Kelley, aye. Action Items The Board opened all bids submitted for Bid#19, Six (6) month bids. A motion was made by Commissioner Hanning and seconded by Commissioner Kelley to accept all bids as presented for accessibility and availability. The motion was approved with the following votes cast: Hanning, aye; Edwards, aye; Kelley, aye.A motion was made by Commissioner Kelley and seconded by Commissioner Hanning to approve Memorandum of Understanding between Muscogee (Creek) Nation and Wagoner County, Oklahoma, regarding Oneta Road. A motion was made by Commissioner Edwards and seconded by Commissioner Hanning to approve Lease Purchase Agreements for FY2013-14. Public Comment – There was none. AnnouncementsE-911 Coordinator Judy Elliott announced the following:She has received several calls from citizens with whom she has worked before, saying what an outstanding job EMS Director Heath Underwood did in the aftermath of the recent tornadoes.Judy gave an update regarding the Harris radios. Work is in progress putting equipment on the tower. She also noted that no damage was done to the tower during the recent tornadoes.The night of the recent tornadoes, the 800 system was patched with Broken Arrow Police Department for the first time with much success. She further commended her dispatchers Chuck Jones, Nickki Wyley and Todd Kuehn who were working at the time, for doing an excellent missioner Edwards stated that he had received information that during the night of the tornadoes, a man by the name of Jim Dobbs was posing as Emergency Management including shirts and falsified credentials which indicated that he had been appointed by the County Commissioners. He asked that the record of the meeting note that Mr. Dobbs is in no way affiliated with Wagoner County or its Emergency Management program. Commissioner Kelley gave an update regarding Clean-up after the tornado in Broken Arrow indicating that a site had been secured for debris removal. Commissioner Hanning announced that 71st Street between Oak Grove Road and 305th will have limited access this week due to road repair.A motion was made by Commissioner Edwards and seconded by Commissioner Hanning to receive the following Reports except for Emergency Management for the Week of June 3rd: Cash Voucher Expense Report(s).
