How to get back to Covenant Access Gateway

(Access to Portal and Sovera) ? Search for shortcut on your desktop or in your browser's Favorites named Covenant's

Logon. ? If not found, open Internet Explorer and in the address line type in

(Access to Portal and Sovera) ? You should see three icons in the Applications box. One for Sovera, CovMD and

Physician Portal. ? Physician Portal ? Log into the Physician Portal. Also Access CPOE, Sovera and iDocView. ? CovMD ? login to Physician Portal. Other available accesses are OB Link, Covenant e-mail, Micromedex, etc. ? Sovera ? sign orders and notes, view handwritten notes

? Launch CovMD or Physician Portal for access to all the above.

? If you launched CovMD, click the Sign In button located right below the Physician Portal title.

? If you launched the Physician Portal, enter your username and password and click Log In

Across the top is the "pages" or "tabs".

Lab, Radiology, Pathology results are located in the Results page.

Search Options are; Search the MPI, Active or Recent Encounter.

? MPI (Master Patient Index) ? All

patients. All visits.

? Active ? Inpatient, Outpatient,

etc.

Patient Search Results

? Recent Encounter ? within 90 days

Tips

? You do not have to enter the

patient's full name, especially if

you lack the exact spelling.

? Use the % as a wildcard.

? Use Birthdates to help narrow

Patient Names Clicking on patient name, takes you to your

search results.

? To search by SSN, enter a dash followed by the SSN number in the last name field.

Click the Visits button for a list of the patient's visits.

The Visits button displays a list of the patient's visits with Admission and Discharge dates

default page and displays the patient's most recent visit data.
