Effective Date May 18, 2020WENGER CORPORATION COVID-19 RESPONSE PLANOur team at Wenger Corporation is continuing to closely monitor the latest developments regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) globally and any potential impact it may have on the continuity of operations. The safety of our team members and our customers remain our utmost priority. We have taken preventative steps at our offices and manufacturing facilities in Minnesota and New York. Additionally, we have developed safety protocols for our team members in the field. Managers and team members are all responsible for implementing this plan. Our goal is to mitigate the potential for transmission of COVID-19 in our workplaces, and that requires full cooperation among our team members. Only through this cooperative effort can we establish and maintain the safety and health of our team members and workplaces. This plan will periodically be updated in keeping with the latest industry best practices.SCREENING AND POLICIES FOR TEAM MEMBERS EXHIBITING SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS OF COVID-19Team members have been informed of and encouraged to self-monitor for signs and symptoms of COVID-19. The following policies and procedures are implemented to assess team members health status prior to entering the workplace and for team members to report when they are sick or experiencing symptoms. Before entering the Wenger facilities, each team member needs to ask themselves whether they have experienced any of the following:A new fever (100.4°F or higher), or a sense of having a fever?A new cough that you cannot attribute to another health condition?New shortness of breath that you cannot attribute to another health condition?A new sore throat that you cannot attribute to another health condition?New muscle aches that you cannot attribute to another health condition, or that may have been caused by a specific activity (such as physical exercise)?Exposure to a person who has been diagnosed with COVID-19?If a team member answers “yes” to any of these questions, they should take the following actions:Stay at home and contact their supervisor. Have an evaluation by a healthcare provider, virtuwell or Amwell for possible testing. Testing will be determined by healthcare providers and state and local health department guidelines. or Team members who have answered “yes” to the above questions will not be able to return to Wenger Corporation facilities, customer locations or installation sites for 14 days from answering “yes” or a healthcare provider confirms you can be released from home isolation per CDC guidelines. These questions will be posted at each team member entrance of the facility to serve as an additional reminder.Wenger Corporation has established leave policies that promote team members staying at home when they are sick, when household members are sick, or when required by a health care provider to isolate or quarantine themselves or a member of their household. If your position does not allow you to work from home, please discuss options with your supervisor or Human Resources partner. SAFETY AND PREVENTIONWhether working remote or in one of Wenger’s facilities, we will continue to practice social distancing to lessen the possible transmission of COVID-19. These are recommended techniques to slow down the transmission of COVID-19.?The two most recommended techniques are:Maintain spacing of at least 6 feet apart in group settings Limiting exposure to groups with more than 10 peopleWenger also recommends best practices for COVID-19 prevention which include:Clean hands frequently.Team members should wash their hands for at least 20 seconds with soap and water frequently throughout the day, but especially at the beginning and end of their shift, prior to any mealtimes and after using the toilet. All visitors to the facility will be required to wash their hands prior to or immediately upon entering the facility. Due to limited availability of hand sanitizer, work areas will have hand-sanitizer dispensers as supplies permit. These stations use sanitizers of greater than 60% alcohol that can be used for hand hygiene in place of soap and water, as long as hands are not visibly soiled.Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.Cover your coughs and sneezes using a tissue and then properly dispose of the tissue or cough/sneeze into your elbow If you do not have a tissue.Avoid touching eyes, nose or mouth.Do not share water bottles, other drink containers or utensils.Avoid shaking hands, high 5’s or fist-bumps with others.
