COVID-19Due to the ongoing requirements and precautions directed by the Governor’s Office, this course will take the necessary precautions to refrain from spreading the virus:The course will be limited to 8 participants (only two per driving school)Facial masks/coverings will be required – please bring your ownThe classroom will be set up to have participants 6 feet apartIf you are feeling ill or have been in contact with anyone who has been ill or had the virus, please stay homeBASIC INSTRUCTOR COURSE REQUIREMENTS The Basic Instructor Course is a required course for any new instructor interested in teaching teens and adults in the basic operation of a motor vehicle. There are a few requirements to pass the class: 1. Dress should be business casual; 2. Students shall be on time for the course and return from breaks on time. 3. Students shall participate, including asking questions, taking notes, paying attention, etc.; 4. Students shall attend the entire class. If there are extenuating circumstances, accommodations can be made to make up any coursework missed; and 5. Students shall pass the written test with a 75% or greater. Failing the final test will result in the student re-taking the course. A student may be asked to leave the course for any disruptions deemed inconsistent with being a respectful participant of the course. ................
