BSU single sign-on Logon account The University uses a single sign-on system (below) for most internal sites, so once you're signed in to any of them, you're signed in to all of them.

Username: use your six-digit student number, e.g. 123456

Password: You will be provided with the password via email once account is created.

We urge you to register on the Password Reset Tool so that you can change your password yourself if you forget it or lock your account, without having to contact the Service Desk. For security reasons you will be asked to change your password periodically.

Open access computers are available in Commons and the Library at Newton Park campus, along with both Sion Hill and Corsham Court campuses.

To access the Wi-Fi on any BSU campus, select `Eduroam' and use your BSU network details:

Username: student number @bathspa.ac.uk e.g.123456@bathspa.ac.uk

Password: Your account password is the same as your BSU network account password.

If prompted for more connection settings use:

The authentication method is `WPA2 Enterprise'.

Under `Phrase 2 authentication' select MSCHAPv2.

If you have difficulties connecting a device, please contact the IT Service Desk on 01225 876500 or visit us in the Library on Newton Park campus.

Please note: Wireless devices such as games consoles, printers, Chromecast and AppleTV will not work on Eduroam. If you live in Gardens, you can connect a games console using a network cable, once you have done this, please contact the IT Service Desk with the device MAC address, device type, wall port, building name and room number to get this enabled for online use.

Your Gmail account is separate to your BSU network account. Your first login to Google should be on a desktop/laptop., as mobile devices will not view correctly for first login.

Navigate to email.bathspa.ac.uk or . Your email address is: firstname.surnameYY@bathspa.ac.uk (YY denotes year joined University) E.g. john.smith17@bathspa.ac.uk Password: Initially the same as BSU network account password, you will be prompted to change it when you login. You can use these credentials to access Google Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides and Photos.

Bath Spa University students can download Office 365 free of charge on up to five devices--PC/Mac, tablet, or phone.

At the beginning of your first full month as an enrolled student, you will be sent an email with the login information to download the software from portal..

If you require Office later on in the year, search your BSU email inbox for `Office 365 ProPlus'.

Alternatively, please call the Service Desk on 01225 876500 if you cannot find the email, or require a password reset.

Useful information:

Your Google account will continue to work after you finish studying.

Unlimited cloud storage on your Bath Spa Google account. This is useful to backup all of your files using Google Drive.

To change your Gmail password: 1. Sign in to `My Account' here -> 2. Under "Sign-in & security," select Signing in to Google. 3. Choose Password. If you see a prompt to sign in again, sign in. 4. Enter your new password, then select Change Password.
