I ceased to be a resident of Canada before a qualifying home or replacement property was bought or built.

If you repay your Home Buyers' Plan (HBP) withdrawals to your Registered Retirement Saving Plan (RRSP) by the required date, the amount withdrawn will not have to be included in your income. If you do not repay all of the amounts withdrawn by the required date, the unpaid amounts will have to be included in your income for the year you received the funds. You can make cancellation payments to any of your existing RRSPs, or a new RRSP for yourself.
