Thank you for a great 2022. The 2023 Bangor Mall Craft Fairs Application is attached to this Letter.

Please, please, please....read this entire letter before texting and asking questions. I believe I have answered all questions below. It is a long message but many of you had questions so I tried to answer them all.

Please remember their are 700 of you and just one of me and usually when you text me a question it is already answered in my posts. Please read this entire letter.

Dale, Nicole & I are happy to announce that the 2023 Fair dates are: NOVEMBER 11 & 12 and NOVEMBER 18 & 19

We would like to make sure you are all aware it's the 2nd & 3rd weekend in November - Not the first 2 weekends as we have always done in the past.

These are the only events we will be hosting because when we did February 2020 we had to give many of the spaces away free to be able to fill the event. So we won't be doing an event during the spring or summer.

We have decided on just 2 November shows. We had to narrow it down to just 2 in the Fall because 3 Fall shows spread the crowd a little too thin. We were pleased with the 1st show in October & the last show on Nov 12-13. this year but the middle show Nov 5-6 had warm weather plus it competed with our October show so we are sticking with just 2 shows in 2023 . We want to give you the best crowds we can. We are not in this for the money. So we will do just 2 shows to hopefully give you the best crowds possible.

We chose back to back to allow crafters in a store to leave product for the next week.

Also I had many crafters texting me explaining their product was Christmas product and October was too early for them to sell. However when we added a 3rd event in October it thinned our 1st November weekend event a little, so we are sticking with what worked best for you in the past. 2 November events and no October event.

We have also read everyone's posts & took everything said into consideration. We are trying hard to make all the Crafters happy.

We have made some changes. We hope these changes please most Crafters.

We have had a price change and many will pay less this year. While some will pay a little more....but the big news is we will give you your space number within 3-7 days of receiving your deposit and application.

YES....We will give you a space number within days of booking to allow you to know exactly where you will be located up to a year before the event!

Just send us the application back by email or by regular mail. (No deposit is required to send in the app, but we won't issue you a space number until we receive a $100 deposit). Full payment is due before October 1st 2023.

We have 2 emails to send your application to: BangorCraftFair@ and BangorFurniture@

Please send your completed application to both of our emails just in case you get one of the emails wrong. It gives the app better odds of reaching us. 7 of the crafters apps never reached us this year because they missed one letter in the email address.

If you can't print the application please ask a friend to help you. We can't assist you unless you stop into the store and pick up a paper application or call us and we will hand mail you an application. We can not accept a texted application this year. Please do not text us the Application.

SPACE NUMBERS: We will require a minimum deposit of $100 per space before we issue you a space number plus we must have your signed application.

You may call store with your debit/credit card to pay your deposit or full payment from 9 AM - 2 PM daily at 207-941-0055. You can also mail it or stop in and pay from 9 AM - 2 PM. (we must require a deposit because we had crafters holding spaces that others wanted and they never paid and then they backed out a week before the event).

Once a $100 deposit is received we will issue you a space number within 7 days. If you request an area that we can not provide then we will offer you a full refund. You may at that time decide to take the space we are offering you or take a full refund. If you have over paid due to the location that we offer...then we will refund the difference. Example. If you paid $199 and we offer you a $139 space then we will refund the $60 difference or we will offer a full refund if you choose to decline the space we offer.

Below is our NEW PRICING per space: All Walkways and Glass Store fronts (only the Glass front part of these stores listed below) Debs, Christopher Banks, Children's Place, Rue 21 & Finish Line and Kiosks are now $199 per space

All stores are now only $139 per space REMEMBER. IF YOU CHOOSE A STORE YOU MAY LEAVE YOUR PRODUCT IF YOU DO BOTH SHOWS Stores are: Debs (not the glass front), Rue 21 (Not the glass front), Children's Place (not the glass front), Lane Bryants (including glass store fronts), Victoria's Secret (including store fronts), Christopher Banks (not the glass front), Finish Line (not the glass front), US Cellular (including the glass store fronts), The Small Room Beside GForce (including the glass front), GNC (these are double spaces only and come with shelves on both sides).

Kiosks in the Furniture Mattresses & More Wing at the Mall Entrance are $199. (These will go fast!!)

On your application please write where you would like to be placed. Example: If you know your 2022 number you may use that as a guideline for us. Do not use any space numbers from previous years other than 2022 - many space numbers have changed due to city codes.

Also October vendors in the JCPenny wing had spaces that are not Available in November Shows due to a Calendar place that rents 32 feet of the walkway space in November and December. We lose 6 spaces.

Also don't write things like "same space as 2019 or 2021." We need more specifics because that was 2 years ago and the numbers have changed.

If you were in a room in 2022 and you liked it just give us the space number. Or write which room/store you want and any details we need to know. Or if you were in a walkway in 2022 write the space number or which wing you prefer. We are sorry but please don't write "center court". That just doesn't give us enough description because these spaces are usually not available so we would need more info such as which wing you like.

PLEASE REMEMBER we had 3 shows in 2022 - there may be 3 people asking for the same space numbers. We will do our best.

IMPORTANT: Please find the post on the Bangor Mall Crafters 2023 Facebook Group that ask for pics. Once you have paid a deposit please drop pics for our ads.

We also must know if you are bringing a canopy. These spaces are very limited. NEW GUIDELINE FOR CANOPIES: Canopies can not use the left or right side panels during the show. Just the back panel and the top panel due to blocking visibility of your neighbors. (Sorry but we have had many complaints).

Of course you can use all panels at night when securing your product. If you do not use lights inside your canopy we ask you to not use the top panel. It makes it very dark inside your area. This is a suggestion in regards to top panel and we will not enforce it but we have had some customer comments that said some canopies were very dark and we wanted you to know so you could make a proper decision about your top panel.

Set up for fairs is 12-8 Friday and 6-9 Saturday Morning. Please be set up by 9am Saturday. Sunday the mall will open to vendors at 8:30.
