2 Year Class Curriculum for 2020 – 2021
• Children in our 2’s classes have opportunities to develop skills necessary for socialization, following simple directions, learning a routine, and participating in age-appropriate learning activities.
• In addition to classroom time, children have playground time each day, music and movement once a week, Chapel time twice a month and motor skills weekly.
• Children will also be exposed to some foundational terminology and concepts from curriculums being used in our older classes.
• CFUMC Preschool Bible Curriculum – All classes use this Bible curriculum which provides Bible lessons and stories and age-level suggestions for crafts, songs, games and other classroom activities.
• Children are introduced and exposed to other areas listed below.
*Our classes will highlight a fine motor skill once a month where more focus is given to that specific skill. However, they will be working on all fine motor skills throughout the year.
