Class size 10.?Stokes County's Open 4-H Horsemanship Camp Ages: ?5-18Cost: ?FreeDate: ?July 17-19 Time: ?8a-1p dailyPlace: Double T Farm 1330 Marshall Ridge Road, Pinnacle, NC 27043Camp participants will follow a total horsemanship approach while?learning the basics of safety when working with horses, equine care, grooming, tack, popular breeds, and more. Weather-dependent, riding opportunities will be available. The members of the Sauratown Trailblazers 4-H club will be leading this camp as volunteer. Snacks will be provided around 11AM each day. A separate farm waiver must be signed by a parent or legal guardian prior to any mounted activities. Helmets can be provided by the farm or riders may bring their own ASTM/SEI approved riding helmet. All persons under the age of 18 must wear an approved?helmet at all times when riding. Boots with a 1-inch heel should be worn to camp. No flip-flops, sandals, or otherwise inappropriate footwear will be permitted in the barn, pastures, arena, or around horses. All campers are expected to display good behavior at all times when at this camp.
