On most pages, but always on the Counts page, you will find a the [Clear] button next to Search Definition. Hit this button to remove all search criteria, except timeframe. 3 –Adjust time frame as needed. TalentNeuron Recruit remembers the time frame from the last log out with your username. Sometimes you will want a month’s worth of results, sometimes a year or more.Set desired timeframe by changing the month, year and day in both fields. Be specific when describing experiences. Pull work experience for the past 10 years or less.Click Analyze.This takes you directly to the Summary tab.Explore the results on this Titles and Hiring Scale can show very interesting information, as can Now click on the Counts tab and explore the information there. In the left filters column, investigate Skills/Certifications, Locations, Functions and OccupationsDo the positions meet the jobseeker’s objectives?Adjust the resume, focusing on accomplishments, skills, job summaries and professional profiles. Redo search with revised resume.Matching Job Postings to a ResumeGoal: Identify Employment Opportunities Based on ResumeComplete a new resume analysis on the New Search tab by copying a resume into Keywords, Description, or Resume. OR From any resume search, use the filters described below to set employment criteriaNote: Criteria will be saved until you click [clear].Click the Counts tab. Review the Search Criteria. These are the terms automatically selected from your resume analysis.Review Time frame: When looking for jobs, keep the time frame shorter than six months.Set filters.Filters are in the left column. Example: Select a location based on the job seeker’s needs. Explore other filters. Add filters based on the job seeker’s education, experience, skills, etc.TalentNeuron Recruit allows you to view contract and temporary positions, as well as anonymous postings that do not include the name of the employer (frequently Craigslist). The default setting does NOT include staffing or anonymous positions.Click on Staffing and/or Anonymous boxes, which are below Time frame toolbar. You may add anonymous postings to the results below the Time frame box at these tabs: Employers, Jobs, Trends and Counts.Review positions and companies with the job seeker. There are several ways to do this. Click on the Jobs tab. Here you will find only open postings.Click on an employer’s name in the right column OR click on the Employers tab. From the Employers tab, click on the name of the employer to see open positions. Tip: Changing filters will change results, which can be used to start discussions about education, resume writing, or other goals. Finding Training and CertificationsGoal: Identify Training or Certifications to Increase Employment Opportunities or WageComplete a new resume analysis by copying a resume into Keywords, Description, or Resume OR From any resume search:Click the Counts tab. Determine if additional filters are needed. Scroll down to the Skills/Certifications frame in the middle column. Change criteria in drop down menu to Certifications.Download or make note of those most advertised – especially if your job seeker does not appear to have the certification.Change the criteria to Hard Skills and repeat this process.Working with your client, identify certifications that may help in his or her job search.Explore the impact of those certificates on Search results by performing new resume analyses to which you have added that certificate. Clear your search and return to the New Search plete a resume analysis with the certification added. Return to the Counts tab.In the left column, scroll down to both the Skill and the Certification filters. Using the search field at the bottom of each list, add one skill or certificate at a time. Hover over the skill, then click the down arrow and choose the option to list as required or optional.Review postings to see if additional employment options arise. Click on postings or move to the Summary tab to see impact on salary.Repeat for each certificate or skill identified.This works best if a client is trying to decide between training or education programs.Email AlertsGoal: Create Email Alerts After completing a resume analysis or keyword search and setting filters, you may set up email alerts for each client, or a group of clients. Click the Jobs tab on top toolbar. Set filter criteria. Tip: Job postings in the Counts tab include those posted or seen within the time period you select. Job postings in the Jobs tab are live within the last 24 hours.For Alerts - Click Alerts to the right of Search Definition: under the main toolbar.Name the report (usually client name or occupation focus) and enter the participant’s email address. You may send the alert to more than one person.Designate the frequency of email alerts by checking daily or weekly box. To start from a position description, cut and paste the position description into the Keyword … field.Do NOT use the client’s resume to perform this search.Click Analyze Set filters in the left column based on the client’s circumstances and employment goals.Click the Candidates tab.Tip: This tab includes information on candidates who meet the search criteria, including those who are not jobseekers, but who are currently or have recently worked in a selected occupation.Scroll through the Candidate Search. This includes online resumes and profiles.Identify a “favorite” and scan for titles and work histories that match your client’s.Review or print resumes that closely match your client’s needs.Finding Potential ContactsGoal: Identify Contacts for Networking Based on Desired Job or CompanyClick the New Search tab. Enter key words or titles that describe these occupations or goals.Click Analyze.Determine whether additional filters will improve the results.Discover potential contacts by using the Jobs, Employers or Counts tabs.The Employers tab lists the number of jobs that meet your search criteria. Click the Employers tab. Identify an employer with whom your client would like to network.Click on the button with the three dots on the right. (In the Jobs and Counts tab, you will hover over the posting title so that this button appears). Click Candidates Working At OR to network with potential leaders/hiring managers, click Contacts At.In the upper right corner, click Refine this Search.Set filter criteria located on the left hand side (at minimum select a local region).Explore the opportunitiesReview the list with customer to identify potential contacts. Click on contact name to identify potential means of connecting. Tip: Swoop and LinkedIn appear to have the best resources for this purpose. You will have to join these networks to get access to contact information. Customers may call general numbers or try a Google search to connect. ................
