Vegas PBS offers several resources to help CCSD job seekers, current employees and our local community.

Due to COVID-19, only scheduled and prepaid testing offered. NO WALK-INS.

ParaPro Exam

? The test is administered Monday?Friday at 8 a.m., 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Testers must schedule their exam by calling 702.799.0031.

? Cost: $75 ? Attempts: 1. Must wait 28 days to retest. ? Time 2.5 hours. ? Passing score: 460 ? Government issued ID required.

HiSET High School Equivalency Exam

? Testers must schedule their exam through the Clark County School District Adult Education office at 702.799.8650 and request the online option.

? Cost: $65 for all 5 tests or $20 for each subtest. ? Time: Varies per exam. ? HiSET Passing Score: 45 total. A minimum score is required on each test. ? Government issued ID required to test.

? ACT WorkKeys? Assessments are administered Monday?Friday from 8 a.m?5 p.m. Testers must schedule their exam by calling 702.799.0031.

? Cost: $25 per exam

? Attempts: 1. Must wait 30 days to retest. ? Time: Varies by exam, 30-70 minutes ? Government issued ID required. ? If candidate's score qualifies for the ACT

National Career Readiness Certification, Certificates are issued by ACT direct.

Excel Exam Level 1 & 2

? Various levels available. Testers should request the exam level needed. Schedule an appointment by calling 702.799.0031.

? Cost: $40 ? Attempts: 1. Must wait 24 hours to retest. ? Time: 30 minutes, excluding review time. ? Passing score: 75%

? Testers may schedule an appointment ? Cost: $20

Vegas PBS Teacher Licensure Renewal and Continuing Education

(CU) Courses

? Vegas PBS offers over 50 online courses approved by the Nevada Department of Education for license renewal credits. Classes start monthly.

PRAXIS Core Preparation

? Classes start monthly for six weeks. ? Cost: $125

PRAXIS Testing

? Testers must schedule the exams at praxis ? Times, lengths and fees vary. ? Evening and weekend exams are available.
