‘Return to Guiding and Scouting’We are thrilled to be re-opening our campsites to day visitors for Girlguiding units and the Scouts from Saturday 25 July until further e for the evening or extend your visit to all day during the holidays. There is plenty to do from organising your own programme to booking a session of climbing, archery, body zorbing or bushcraft, your young people are bound to have fun whatever they choose to do. Guiding members can even choose to book a badge skills half day with us where one of our team will guide you through all you need to gain the skills for an interest badge.Our Special summer 2020 prices apply for a limited time only:Groups of 15 Girlguiding and Scouting members including leadersA chance to be together outdoors as a unit. Bring your own food and drinks. Toilets and hand washing available Day visitors ?1.50 per person ?4 per person including day visit and one activity from: Crazy golf; Trampolines; Pedal Karts (minimum 6 participants maximum 15 participants)?6 per person including day visit and one activity from: Climbing; Archery; Body Zorb; Bushcraft (minimum 6 participants maximum 10 participants)Badge Skills ? Brownie: Aviation; Mindfulness; Guides: Whittling; Meditation; Geocaching. ?8 per personUMA’s and Skills builders please contact us for details.Our top tip to get ready is to make sure you have your group first aid kit (remember to add hand sanitiser, masks and aprons as standard). Hand sanitiser for your unit to use while out and about, sun cream, a gazebo and groundsheet as a base for your things. You will also need to bring all your own food and individual water bottles for the girls. The site shop can be opened for small items should you wish. We will allocate you an individual area of the site for you to enjoy although of course you are welcome to roam where ever no one else is. You will also, where possible, be allocated an individual area of a toilet block for your unit use while you are on site.Please ensure you follow all the guidance on the website and us for help and support in making your visit to us a success.Members Friends and Families EventWe are thrilled to be re-opening our campsites to day visitors for adult members of Girlguiding units and adult members of the Scouts with their immediate families and friends from Saturday 25 July until further e for the evening or extend your visit to all day during the holidays. There is plenty to do from organising your own thing to booking a session of climbing, archery, body zorbing or bushcraft. Please make sure you adhere to the current government advice maximum of 6 people from multiple households (ie more than 2 households) may join together outdoors. (This will be 5 participating people if booking any of our instructor lead activity sessions)We can also accommodate up to 15 members from up to 2 different households who may wish to join together outdoors.
