Parent Information

Parents,

We are in our last week of our unit on Who We Are. Last, we added rules and laws to our focus. How do rules/laws help us to make good choices? How does it affect our relationships and the world around us if we don’t follow rules/ laws? Living in the United States, we have the freedom to make choices. How do these choices affect our lives? This week, we are adding symbols of freedom. Since we live in a country that allows us the freedom to make choices, we will spend some time learning about the symbols that represent freedom in our country. In math, we will continue to work on number sense. Last week we began to focus on subtraction.

Math Homework: As you may have noticed, there will be lessons that take more than a day to get through. If this is the case, I will normally find another sheet to substitute for math homework that day. I may also, just tell students to focus on math facts for the day.

Thank you for all you did to make the Fun Run a success. Your donations are a huge help to PTC and our school. This allows us to go to field trips and have extra activities for the children at school.

Our Students got enough pledges to earn Crazy Hair Day. This will be on Monday, September 18th.

A big thank you to Mrs. Carlson and Mrs. Finkle for creating our Fun Run posters.

Reminders:

Crazy Hair Day for our Class: September 18th

Have a great week,

Mrs. Hewitson
