Instructions for Completing an Online Job Application

Log On

( Use Internet Explorer (Version 9 or up), Safari, Google Chrome (preferred), or Mozilla Firefox.

( Go to and click on ‘Employment’ (top right) then Click on ‘Job Opportunities’ (left side).

( Review the current job openings available. Locate the position you are interested in and click on the job title.

( Click on the apply link to access the online job application.

|( If you already have an online account, type in your user name and password (or click on the Linkedin/Facebook buttons to link to those |

|accounts). If you do not already have an online account, you need to create one. |

Create an Account

( Click on the “Create an Account” link.

( Make sure you go to , , , or any other free email service to

create an email if you do not have one before setting up an account. You may also create an

account with your LinkedIn or Facebook account so you will not have to remember a new

username/password. Create a username and password then click on ‘create.’

Your account has now been created.

( Write down your username and password information and keep it in a safe place so you will

have this information for future use.

Creating a Job Application

( Import your resume and/or information from LinkedIn. Click on the appropriate button below. LinkedIn should automatically link to your account so you can upload your information. Or you can upload your resume to attach.

( When finished, click on the “Info” button on the left side. Fill in your ‘General Information.’ Save and Click Next. [pic]

( Complete the ‘Work’ section then save and click on next.

( Complete the ‘Education’ section then save and click on next.

( Complete the ‘Additional’ section if you have any certificates, licenses, skills, etc. that you would like to add. Then save and click on next.

( Add personal or professional references that you would like to add then save and click on next.

( Add any other attachments of items you’d like to submit here. If the position you are applying for requires specific items to be attached to be considered, you must have them attached here.

( Answer the Agency Wide and Supplemental (if added) Questions. Save and click next.

( Review application and then certify and submit the application.

( You will receive the following message that your application was successfully submitted. You will also receive an email that it was received. If you do not receive the email immediately, please check your junk or spam email.
