Using a template speeds up project creation, ensures project consistency, and leads to more accurate reporting.

1. Go to the Main Menu icon and select Projects.

2. Select New Project.

3. Choose a template from the Favorite templates section.

4. If you don't see the template you need, select New Project from Template.

5. In the New Project From Template window, select the desired template from the list on the left.

6. Review the template specifications--such as project duration and total number of tasks--on the right side of the window.

7. Select Use template.

8. Fill in the project details according to your organization's guidelines.

9. Select Create Project at the bottom of the window.

KNOW WHICH TEMPLATE WAS USED

If you're not sure which template was used to create a project, you can see that in the Project Details. In the Overview section, scroll to the Project relationships area. This lists the project template that was applied to the project.
