The instructor will implement a mix model approach to train this skill. Students will observe a video presentation on creating a google account and at the end of the presentation, students will evaluate their learning experience by completing a short quiz. Learners will be able to:Access the google website and begin the initial steps needed to set-up a google account. Technology becomes the visual recipe for students to be able to mimic how a process is to look. From a cognitive approach, students are allowed the freedom to think through a process, store in their short-term memory and later recall the information when necessary to put into use. Amplification: Creating video instruction on how to create a google account provides learners and an instructor a more efficient way to perform a psychomotor skill. Create a google account requires a learner to have hand/eye coordination, or in the case of a visually impaired learner, hand coordination. A learner needs to use some form of coordination in order to use a computer to create a google account. Instructional steps in the form of a chart coupled with the video instructions, provides learners with a variety of ways to learn the skill. Transformation: Technology provides a means for creating a story telling environment, such as movie script and using pedagogical agents as an actor.
