We will first create a table and then create a similar cross table for comparison.Process Steps?In this simulation, we will first create a simple table with Business Area, Fiscal Year/Period, and Income. Then, we will create a similar cross table with the same fields. We will start with the Report Elements Menu.1.?The?Report Elements button is clicked.From the Report Elements > Tables tab, you can insert a vertical table, a horizontal table, or a cross table.?To start, we will create a vertical table.2.?The dropdown in the Tables tab is clicked.3.?The Define Vertical Table button is clicked.You can drop the table anywhere in the open space.4.?The Reporting area is clicked.The Insert Report Element window allows you to select the columns you want to see in the table. We will pick Business Area, Fiscal Year/Period, and Income.5.?The dropdown in the?Columns field is clicked.6.?The Business Area?button is clicked.We want to add more columns to the table, so we will use the plus button.7.?The + button is clicked.Next, we will look for the Fiscal Year / Period field.8.?The Pick... dropdown is clicked.9.?The?Fiscal year/ period button is clicked.To add another column to the table, we will again use the plus button.10.?The + button is clicked.We will select the Income field. 11.?The Pick... dropdown is clicked.12.?The?Income button is clicked.When you click the OK button, the table will appear on the page.13.?The OK button is clicked.Now, we will create a cross table.
