How to add a Shared Email address to Outlook after converting to Office 365
These steps can only be done AFTER you have followed the separate instructions for "Initial_Setup_Outlook_Desktop_2010" which configure Outlook to see your Office 365 email/calendar.
Within Outlook, click on "File" then click on "Add
Account"

Enter Display Name for Shared Email Address, email address (@uw.edu), and password in fields
indicated Then click
"Next"

You will see this screen for several minutes while it works to configure

Upon completion your screen will look like this.
Then click "Finish"
You will get this message. Click "OK" and close
Outlook and re-open it.

On the re-start of Outlook, you will see your shared email address
your regular email folders as shown in example. Click to open and see that email and it related
folders
