You will be doing three types of poem:

1. With a Rhyme scheme (2 stanzas - 4 or 5 lines each ) You can use to search for rhymes

2. Concrete poem (minimum 40 words) You can use this link to create one:





3. Acrostic poem (minimum 5 lines) You can use your name or any other meaningful word.

Instructions: A) Each type of original poem will be printed in a separate sheet of paper.

B) These will be handed in, to be done in computer.

C) Choose one topic for each poem; you may not use the same topic for two poems. Friendship Family Love Social issues Feelings (happiness, sadness, etc.) Dreams and goals

D) Value: 60 pts (Rubric will be discussed in class)
