Introductory statement (Thesis)
The introductory statement states your point of view.
Body
The body is the support for your introductory statement. It includes three parts: Point, Proof, and Comment.
Point: Introduces the specific topic you want to write about.
Proof: Is evidence that supports (proves) your point. This is taken word for word from the piece of writing.
The proof must have a citation.
Comment: Should logically relate to how the point and proof affects you and/or the world you live in.
Conclusion
Restate your introductory sentence and your main point(s) in different words.
