Due: Tuesday, Feb. 26th
[pic]
Using the topic for your final paper AND take notes on a minimum of five papers and create an extensive outline for the final paper.
This outline should have ALL sections set out, with sub-topics, quotes and paraphrases from articles (and a citation list at the end).
Read the final paper assignment provided separately to see where you are heading. You are to be writing a critical analysis of one of the 7 questions with which you were provided. This includes identifying the main topic and the issues and people involved in the problem, describing the associated science briefly, relaying your point of view on the topic, as well as other people’s points of view, and providing pros and cons of the issue. Finally you are to come to a conclusion about the topic which you can support from the other sections of your paper.
In ALL areas, supporting evidence will be expected – meaning you need to cite within the paper where you get information to support both your and other people’s ideas, your conclusions, and the pros and cons of the issues.
As a result of writing this outline, you should be ready to write your paper.
Your final paper will be approximately 4 pages long with a 5th page for citations.
