6 59th Annual National Day of Prayer: This year’s theme is “Prayer…For Such a Time As This”. Please make a special effort to attend Mass, pray outside the abortion center your parish has been asked to pray for, or offer a rosary for the restoration of the Culture of Life in our land on this day. 7 First Friday All-Night Adoration in prayer for the advancement of the culture of life will be held at the Discalced Carmelite Monastery, 600 Flowers Ave., Dallas, located off of Jefferson Blvd. Security will be there throughout the night. Come as early as 5:00 p.m. Latin Masses at 8:00 p.m. Friday and 3:00 a.m. Saturday. Adoration ends just before the 7:00 a.m. Saturday Mass. These prayer vigils will be held every First Friday. The Cloistered Carmelites will also be praying all night. You may leave your personal prayer requests with them. There will be food and drink available in the evening. 7-9 One Million Rosaries for Unborn Babies: The Saint Michael the Archangel Organization is pleased to announce One Million Rosaries for Unborn Babies. From May 7th through May 9th, it is hoped that you will pray at least one Rosary on any of the three days for the following intention: For an end to the surgical and non-surgical killing of unborn human persons. People planning on participating in the One Million Rosaries for Unborn Babies are encouraged to register at . 16      27th Annual Cemetery of the Innocents Gravesite Memorial Service:  2:00 p.m., Calvary Hill Cemetery, 3235 Lombardy Lane, Dallas.  The annual Cemetery of the Innocents Memorial Service is held at one of the largest mass graves of aborted babies in the world, where more than 1,300 precious innocents are buried.  Please join us for the Cemetery of the Innocents Memorial Graveside Service where we will honor the memory of the children who have been killed by abortion.  Everyone is encouraged to bring flowers for the gravesite. 26 Sidewalk Counseling Training in English and Spanish: 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 214 S. Garland Ave., Garland 75040. English training will take place in the school cafeteria, and Spanish training will take place in the gymnasium. How do you Save a Life?? Come learn the Msgr. Philip Reilly method of peaceful, prayerful presence which has helped more than 22,000 mothers turn away from abortion in New York and 3,500 mothers here in Dallas. 2-4 Crossroads: America’s Pro-Life Pilgrimage will be walking through Dallas. Crossroads is a national organization of mostly college-age students who walk across the country to proclaim the pro-life message. While they are in town they will need host homes and parish and youth events in which to participate. 17 Render Unto Caesar: Defending Life in the Public Square: 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., at St. Ann Catholic Church, 180 Samuel Blvd., Coppell 75019. Conference is sponsored by the Catholic Pro-Life Committee and Texas Alliance for Life. The purpose of the conference is to train and activate grassroots citizens to become involved in defending life in the public square. Hear from experts in the field.  Learn to make a difference in the upcoming Texas Legislative Session.  Learn what the Church teaches about civic involvement and why you should be involved.  Conference is in English and Spanish. Conference will end with the 5:00 Vigil Mass at St. Ann (optional). Early registration is $35.00 which includes lunch and all conference materials and resources. 30- Aug 4       8th Annual Youth For Life Boot Camp:  Youth For Life will hold the 8th Annual Pro-Life Boot Camp for high school youth age 14-17 from July 30-August 4 at the University of Dallas.  This year’s theme is “It’s a Revolution - Theology of the Body”.  Co-sponsored by the Dallas Catholic Pro-Life Committee’s YFL and the Fort Worth Catholics Respect Life’s YFL.  Youth may attend for just the weekend or stay for the whole six-day event.  Activities include praise and worship, youth-created pro-life skits, prayer time in front of abortion centers, community service projects, and presentations from guest speakers Monica Ashour, TOBET for Teens by Teens, and the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal, on the following topics: The Language of the Body; TOB and Respect for Life; How to Share TOB. 

Come for the weekend, July 30-August 1, or come for the whole Boot Camp, July 30-August 4.  The weekend costs $120; the whole Boot Camp costs $210.  After June 30th prices go up and space may be limited.  Home schoolers welcome!  Young adults ages 18-20 may apply online to be Junior Staff.  Ages 21+ may apply online to be chaperones.  Contact Jacquelyn Smith, 972-416-9591, or jsmith@.  Register online at .
