In this free workshop presented by Owen County State Bank, our speaker, Noah Smith will speak from experience about SBA Loans. Noah completed his first SBA loan in 1997 and swore he'd never do another one. In 2005 as he helped oversee the growth of Crossroads Bank into a new market he decided to try the SBA one more time. A prospect had been turned down by 9 other banks because of too much student loan debt thus dashing the dreams of this small business.

Noah and Crossroads gave them a chance with a SBA loan and that business has continued to thrive and grow over the last 10 years. Light bulbs starting going off for Noah about the power of the SBA programs for both Small Businesses and lenders.

We will cover the following topics:

? Why SBA? How it is different than a conventional loan?

? Eligible types of businesses

? How you can maximize your ability to qualify

? Required documentation
