1.0 CALL TO ORDER/QUORUM CHECK

The Supplier Support Committee meeting was called to order at 5:30pm pacific time by David Michaud, SSC Chairperson. A quorum was established (minimum 5 SSC members were present).

Minutes of the previous meeting were approved by the SSC LT via email on 18 January 2007.

1.1 Members of the SSC Leadership Team and first time meeting attendees were introduced.

1.2 The meeting agenda was reviewed and participants were reminded to sign the attendance roster.

2.0 INTRODUCTION OF THE SSC MEETING FORMAT AND AREAS OF DISCUSSION – DAVID MICHAUD, FOUNTAIN PLATING, INC.

David Michaud, SSC Chairperson discussed the change to the format of the SSC meeting, reviewed actions taken from the discussions at the October SSC meeting and introduced the five topic areas for this meeting. See attached presentation for details of the format and the five topic areas.

2.1 SUPPLIER MERIT – DAVID MICHAUD, FOUNTAIN PLATING, INC.

David Michaud, SSC Chairperson provided a brief update on two sub-teams that have recently been formed to look at the current supplier merit program to develop ways to improve consistency. David explained that one of the small group topics originally scheduled for this meeting was supplier merit, but as these teams have just been formed, this topic has been postponed to a future meeting where the SSC will have more information to report.

2.2 SMALL GROUP BREAKOUT – DAVID MICHAUD, FOUNTAIN PLATING, INC.

Facilitators and recorders for each group were introduced and all participants were shown the areas of the room where each topic would be discussed. All participants were asked to move to the area of their choice so they could participate in the appropriate small group discussion. The focus topic was discussed for the first 15 minutes and then facilitators could proceed to any additional topics of interest to that group.

3.0 REPORT OUT FROM SMALL GROUP DISCUSSIONS

a.) Auditor Consistency – a discussion about the consistency of Nadcap auditors and suggestions on how to improve consistency among the auditor base. See attached minutes for details of this discussion.

b. Escapes Reporting – a discussion on the Nadcap Escapes Reporting pilot, a review of the status of the pilot, and a dialog from suppliers on why this is needed and ways it can be improved. See attached minutes for details of this discussion.

c.) Flowdown – a discussion on the issue of flowdown to suppliers and the new flowdown templates that have been created by many of the Nadcap Task Groups. See attached minutes for details of this discussion.

d.) General Discussion – a group that had discussion on a variety of topics of interest to the members, including major vs. minor NCR’s, how to initiate an appeal, ways to bring issues to Task Groups and more. See attached minutes for details of this discussion.

3.0 REPORT OUT FROM SMALL GROUP DISCUSSIONS (Cont’d)

f.) Supplier Technical Sub-Task Groups – a review of the purpose of these groups and a discussion on ways to improve their usefulness to all Nadcap stakeholders. See attached minutes for details of this discussion.

4.0 NEW BUSINESS AND MEETING ADJOURNMENT – DAVID MICHAUD, FOUNTAIN PLATING, INC.

The floor was open to questions and comments from all attendees.

Comments were raised about the need for additional rooms to make the break out sessions more effective

ACTION ITEM: SSC LT will ask PRI for additional rooms at future meetings

A question was asked if the locations for meetings are reviewed by anyone other than PRI. The answer was supplied that the NMC reviews all locations.

A comment was made reminding Suppliers who have voting privileges in their Task Groups and/or on NMC to attend meetings and cast votes. A response from the SSC LT was given that these votes are being monitored and that the SSC LT is currently establishing initiatives to increase voting in these areas.

All participants were reminder to complete the meeting evaluation forms and add any additional comments or suggestions.
