AUTHORIZING THE CHAIRPERSON TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT BY AND BETWEENTHE COUNTY OF CLINTON AND CSEA, LOCAL 1000/AFSCME, AFL-CIO, CLINTON COUNTY UNITS 6450 AND 6466 OF LOCAL 884 - PERSONNEL DEPARTMENT

WHEREAS, the County ofClinton and the CMI Service Employee' Association, Inc., Local 1000, AFSCME, AFL-CIO, Clinton County Units 6450 and 6466 ofLocal 884 are parties to a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) with effective dates ofJanuary 1, 2016 through December 31, 2019 and have been negotiating a Successor Agreement for the period ofJanuary 1, 2020 through December 31, 202-4; and

WHEREAS, thePBA membership voted to ratify the tenns ofthe Successor Agreement on April 6,202l;and

WHEREAS, the Clinton CountyNegotiations Committee recommends adopting the terms ofthe Successor Agreement as set forth in the agreement attached hereto; now, therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED, the Clinton County Legislature does hereby authorize the Chairperson to execute a Successor Collective Bargaining Agreement between the County ofClinton andthe Cjvil Service Employee' Association, Inc., Local 1000, AFSCME, AFL?CIO, Clinton Co1.1,11ty Units 6450 and 6466 ofLocal 884 covering the period from January 11 2020 throughDecember 31, 2024.

The following successor labor agreement proposal. package is mutually agreed upon by the COUNTY and CSEA as the successor agreement contract proposal reached at the March 3, 2021 negotiation session. It is presented as a package to be accepted or rejected in its entirety. Any counterproposal will be considered a rejection ofthis package.

Except as revised or amended below, the language ofthe collective bargaining agreement between the parties January 1, 2016 - December 31, 2019 will continue in full force and effect. The agreed upon revisions will be effective upon ratification of the parties and will expire December 31, 2024.
