INFORMATION FOR DTP DOWNLOAD & SET-UP (28 Aug 2017)

In FY16, DOD has implemented the new security environment policy which blocks various types of self-executing files and restricts various configuration activities to be executed only by computer system administrator. The procedures below are the common practices to make the DTP software work in the new security environment. Depending on the setting on your computer, you may need assistance from the local IT Team.

Army members may download the software at AKO and FTDTL

- The DTP v5.4L for Army is released. Army users may download the "DTPLiteUSA_1.exe" or "DTP_v54L.zip" files from the listed sites. - AKO site: (Folder DTP 2017) - DOD FTDTL Portal account users may download the software at . => Login/Create new account, follow the link for DTP/NDSP Portal sections of "DTP Documents" and "Army DTP Download Section" to select applicable files for download.

Notes: DTP versions for other services (Navy, Marine, Air Force, Coast Guard, NDOD) are also available at the DOD FTDTL Portal.

Notes: Currently, the ARD ASAP website cannot host the file "DTP_v54L.exe" due to the unique environment. Until the situation is resolved, the "exe" files are NOT available at the ASAP website.

USAR members using USAR computers need to download the DTP software and configure it within the authorized folder on C Drive. Please contact your command ADCO for assistance.

How to download the files:

DO NOT try to run the software directly from online; users must download the software to the computer before trying to install or run. One way to download a file from a website is to point the cursor to file link (name), right-click the mouse and select "save target as..." from the menu.

For downloading files from AKO, you can use the same method, or the alternate method: 1) check the box(es) to select the file(s) and 2) Click the download icon. The file(s) will be downloaded to the folder/path per your selection.

With Zip files, users need to extract the content files to a user-designate folder to enable the normal file functions.

The DTP related files are: -DTP DODid User Guide (common information) -DTPLiteUSA_1.exe (all Windows OS) -Drug Testing Program Lite version 5 CON

-CoN Expiration Dates and Version Number Policy Change (1 Apr 13) -DTP_v54L.exe (improved version for Win-XP, Win-7, and Win-10 systems; available at sites listed above) -DTP_v54j.exe (for Win-7 only; removed from common site, available by special request) -DTP_v5.4k.exe (for Win-XP/7/10; removed from common site, available by special request) -DTP 5.4 Installation Guide -DTP-CSS v5.4 CON CERT-201620403
