Presentation – Economic Development Committee RetreatDISCUSSION HIGHLIGHTSChairman Mitchell welcomed everyone to the retreat and reviewed the retreat goals. He then turned it over to Tracy Dodson to further discuss the retreat goals and introduce the facilitator, John Martin. She also introduced Fran West, our new Business Concierge Manager in Economic Development who starts her new position in September.John Martin, the meeting facilitator, reviewed the retreat goals and ground rules. He started with a group exercise on Jeopardy and then began his presentation (reference presentation for specifics). Mayor Lyles thanked Chairman Mitchell and the Economic Development Committee Members for taking such a thoughtful strategic approach for the retreat. She also expressed her hope that the Economic Development Committee’s planning process could become a model for other City Council Committees. The meeting adjourned at 4:00p.m. ................
