Health Current Events Reaction Paper

Health is ongoing and all around us. This is a time of exciting new health developments. You will need to complete a health current event reaction paper each week. This will require you to read magazines, newspapers and visit online news websites. The focus of these reactions is to engage you in a personal and critical examination of current issues and events relevant to the Health Curriculum. This assignment will provide you an opportunity to look at these public health issues through your own eyes.

Directions:

Read:

✓ Health related article (newspaper, magazine or Internet) which was written within the last three months

✓ Article chosen clearly relates to current health topic. It gives information to understand health better. Comes from a reliable news source.

Write:

✓ Two Paragraphs:

o 1st Summary of the article in your own words.

o 2nd Connections to you, your thoughts and learning.

✓ 1 page typed (minimum), MLA format - 12 font and double spaced

✓ Reference Cited ~ MUST use MLA format
