Now, therefore,Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:That the members of the South Carolina House of Representatives, by this resolution, declare Wednesday, March 8, 2017, as “Unclaimed Property Day” and, in so doing, urge all citizens to utilize the Office of the State Treasurer’s database to search for unclaimed property for themselves, their friends and family, and their businesses. Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to Curtis M. Loftis, Jr., treasurer of South Carolina.XX ................
