I found it difficult to follow at times as the pictures were usually far removed from the text. Many were taken too far away, close-ups would have been much better. Even better would have been a drawing of the design he was using so that readers could work along with him.Technique wise, he did stress the importance of ensuring everything is done correctly and why. Without saying it specifically, after reading this book I am sure some will have second thoughts on constructing their own knife if they can't work to such minute detail. An area I found seriously lacking was when he talked about the fastenings. What were they, dimensions, descriptions and suppliers would have been very helpful or even some pictures, maybe even alternatives?Overall, too much detail was missing for a first-timer, for someone already making folders but not this style, they may be able to

extract enough to then create their own version.

This tutorial was horrid and lackluster. Better tutorials can be found for free on multiple knife forums. The photography is poor and sparse. Even though this ebook was inexpensive it is a monumental waste of time and money. From the content I'd say that the maker is a very talented bladesmith but not much an author.
