OFFICE OF HUMAN RESOURCESPOSITION DESCRIPTION Position: Senior Customer Care RepresentativeDepartment: Catholic Cemeteries – Sales AdministrationReports To: Sales Administration ManagerClassification: Non-ExemptGeneral DescriptionThe Senior Customer Care Representative is responsible for handling all customer account inquiries in a professional and timely manner. The Senior Customer Care Rep. inputs sales data and account collection related activity for Catholic Cemeteries for the Archdiocese of Newark. The Senior Customer Care Representative shall be open to work at any of Catholic Cemeteries’ locations in the northern New Jersey region.Specific Duties/ResponsibilitiesAnswer telephone calls and respond to questions related to customer accounts. Able to assess and direct calls accordingly. Able to provide general information on all Catholic Cemeteries products and services. Able to assist customers and Memorial Planning Advisors with Contract Refinance requests and approval. Enter sales contracts, floral and candle invoices, memorialization orders and related payments. Process and input PAD checking and Credit Card info and voided contracts. Call customers to update expired or declined PAD accounts. Update sales leads. Run weekly reports and prepare monthly acceptance, past due and friendly reminder letters. Prepare “Right of Interment” certificates. Process all contract cancellations. Print contracts as required and issue contracts to sales counselors and maintain contracts issued log. Order and mail coupon payment books. Assist in month end close activities & reconciliations. Other duties as assigned.Qualifications/SkillsThe employee must be a motivated team player with excellent communications skills and a strong attention to detail. Analytical thinker. Bi-lingual capability with the Spanish language is a plus.Education and/or Experience High School degree and prior office experience required. Strong computer skills with competency in Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, Teams and Word required.
