We are tasked to over 1000 missions every year and our crews bring lifesaving critical care throughout Cornwall, the Isles of Scilly and beyond.In April 2020, we saw the arrival of our brand new AW169 helicopter, a lifesaving ‘Emergency Department’ for the skies.Saving lives is the charity’s mission. Despite the pandemic, illness and injury were not put into lockdown, and it was incredibly important that the charity operations adapted to make sure the crew and helicopter respond to those in their hour of need.It costs ?5m per year to run the charity which is funded through the amazing generosity of our supporters.By joining our incredible team you can be part of the future to help and sustain the income of the charity, so “Future lives depend on you”.Key ResponsibilitiesThe post holder will be responsible for providing customer service support to the charity’s donors, through face to face interaction, telephone and email. The data management of supporter records, including processing high volumes of data, segmentation of information for accurate reporting and analysis, which provides support for fundraising activities and initiatives.AuthorityThe Fundraising and Database Administrator will report to Senior Fundraising Manager.Working in collaboration with other Fundraising and Database Administrator.Meeting attendance may include (this list is not exhaustive)Interdepartmental staff and team meetingsTask and finish groups and working groupsTrainingSupervision with line managerMeetings with volunteersMeetings with fundraisers and groups (general public)Principle Accountabilities of the RoleProvide administrative support to the Senior Fundraising Manager, fundraising team and the wider office including all telephone and general enquiries, meet and greet supporters, dealing with incoming correspondence and appropriate responses, and ensuring the timely dissemination of enquiries / information to relevant personnel.Responsible for efficient and consistent data entry and maintenance of supporter records on CRM system, including importing and reconciling online payment and donor data, ensuring data protection legislation is adhered to.Prepare personalised thank you’s and correspondence, giving supporters a positive experience of the charity. Maintaining standard letter templates for relevance. Organising and distributing appropriate fundraising materials as required.Filtering of data for segmentation purposes, including analysis and preparation of campaigns and mailshots. Proof-reading of e-newsletter.Responsible for weekly and monthly banking and reconciliation. Co-ordinating the cash counting process, including Loomis collection and volunteer rota.Dealing with all queries regarding gift aid declarations, lottery, regular giving, data protection, legacy updates and complaints, as per the charity’s policy and procedures.
