|To supervise the provision of operational services to the Council’s corporate buildings, ensuring correct health and safety practices and documentation, |

|reviewing response to emergency situations, developing practice and procedure in accordance with HSE guidance, the requirements of the business, and |

|Council policy and procedure. |

|To supervise the day-to-day operation of health and safety on site at designated buildings, ensuring that guidelines are followed in relation to public |

|sector guidance and other relevant legislation. |

|To supervise the carrying out of management health and safety risk assessments within the Aylesbury Complex, and radiating out good practices to other |

|buildings across the estate, acting upon reports to resolve issues of health and safety compliance. |

|To review documentation currently in place and propose amendments to FM Lead Officer/Facilities Manager as necessary. |

|To act as an ambassador for the Council for operational services and health and safety at all buildings within responsibility. |

|Input into health and safety and operational planning for the future proofing of buildings and assets |

|Organisation of, and where applicable delivering, training on relevant health and safety topics. Keeping records of such. |

|To be flexible and adaptable, substituting for staff in similar roles across the Resources Service as required and/or undertaking special projects |
