Student Password Reset Quick Guide

Good news! Did you know that you can reset your student password in seconds? Below is a guideline on how to quickly reset your student password.

Step 1

Open your favorite browser and type the following URL (cut.ac.zw).This will direct you to the CUT website. Click on student e-learning link.

Step 2

The login Screen shown in Figure 1.2 appears

Figure 1.2 Click on Forgot Password in Figure 1.2 which will take you to Figure 1.3 below where the student link will appear.

Step 3

Fill the password reset form as shown below: e.g. @Student123 Please Note the password complexity requirements for Chinhoyi University of Technology as displayed on the screen below :

Lowercase Characters:

abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz

Uppercase (Capital letters): ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ

Special Characters :

, ~ . @ $ % ^ * / * - ? ! " | \

Numbers :

0123456789

Please Note : Minimum 8 characters implies that the length of your password should be at least 8 characters (meaning after combining the lowercase, uppercase, a special character and the number(s) your password length should be at least 8 characters long).

Step 4

On successful reset, the following login screen in Figure 1.5 will show for a student to login.
