The Year in Membership Publications PaytecH, PAYTECHonline and AP Journal Online

Hundreds of business magazines publish articles that examine what makes a company successful. PAYTECH is the business magazine for the people who keep those successful companies going by delivering accurate, on-time payrolls while staying in compliance with ever-changing laws and regulations.

PAYTECH has continued to focus on topics of interest and concern to APA members. During the past year, APA staff and PAYTECH's talented Board of Contributing Writers offered members a wealth of valuable information on subjects ranging from preparing for year end to management and staffing issues.

PAYTECH also offered advice from experts on how to implement and promote paycard programs, deal with mergers and acquisitions, and master outsourcing issues in today's business climate. In addition, PAYTECH updated readers on payroll tax compliance, presented coverage of the Annual Congress, the Educational Institutions Payroll Conference, National Payroll Week, the Best Practices Conference, and the Capital Summit. PAYTECH also took a look inside APA mem-

ber Beth Foraker's life as her son reached pop culture stardom as last year's American Idol, and provided an eco-friendly tribute to how payroll is going green. We also introduced the 2008 Payroll Man and Woman of the Year, the 2008 Prism Award winners, the 2008 Chapter of the Year, and APA's new President, Dennis Danilewicz, CPP.

PAYTECH continues to have its circulation verified by BPA Worldwide, giving the magazine added credibility among advertisers and earning the right to display the BPA logo in each issue. Awareness of PAYTECH and APA is boosted through the presence we have on the BPA website (, keyword: PAYTECH).

PAYTECH's blend of comprehensive payroll news, in-depth features, and original graphics is designed to present readers with an engaging publication that will not only be read once, but saved and used as a career development reference. Always adapting to meet the needs of APA members, PAYTECH remains the premier publication of the payroll profession.
