SUMMARY:

Responsible for tactical and long term planning of aircraft services operations to ensure adequate hangar, labor, tooling and other resources to perform all work on schedule, on budget with zero defects. Key focal point for development of Aircraft Services annual plan and budget. Coordinates between sales and the service managers to accommodate customer demand, team member training and vacation time while minimizing unbillable time. Ensures prompt and efficient filing and resolution of warranty claims.

|RESPONSIBILITIES: |

|Manages planners, schedulers, warranty administration and tool control |

|Oversees development of the annual plan and budget for Aircraft Services |

|Validates manpower requirements and assignments before jobs are scheduled |

|Responsible for shop-wide daily manpower allocation, utilization and tracking of projects across maintenance, avionics and interiors to |

|ensure on time completion. |

|Oversees assignment of hangar slots to maximize work flow through the facility |

|Oversees construction of project plans in MS Project to establish key milestones and critical path. Facilitates revisions of plans as needed |

|during implementation. |

|Single point of contact to resolve all resource allocation issues daily |

|Proactively publishes and leads a periodic joint review of scripted hours based on input from sales and operations |

|Directly supervises a team of planners, schedulers and warranty administrators |

|Collaborates with the team on process improvement |

|Writes annual performance evaluations and disciplinary actions |

|Motivating, mentoring, training, and providing constructive feedback |

|Performs other duties as assigned |

|Proficient understanding of Federal Air Regulations (FAR) |

|Proficient in use of parts, maintenance and structural repair manuals |

|Must have a thorough knowledge of MS Office, including the ability to create spreadsheets, project schedules, proposals and customers letters|

|EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: |

|6 +years experience in Business Aviation |

|4+ years working as a manager of teams in a production environment. |

|4+ years experience supervising 10+ employees |

|Airframe & Powerplant Certification required |

|Work is performed indoor, outdoor and in shop environments; industrial type noise conditions |
