September 2010 Quarterly Review

Every three months, the London Stock Exchange (“the Exchange”) reviews the

securities on its markets.

The purpose of this announcement is to provide details and timings of the September Quarterly Review changes. The main changes are:

Implementation of the FTSE Group Indices review;

International Order Book:

o revision of the dynamic price format code (“tick size”) schedule;

o removal of the current minimum order size of 50 units; and

Amendment of Exchange Market Size (market maker obligation) and CESR Average Daily Turnover (“ADT”) of individual securities.

The amendments summarized above and detailed in the relevant workbook of the attached appendix shall be conducted after 5:30pm on the business day prior to the effective date (details will be disseminated via Infolect simultaneously). The TradElect Parameters Document will be updated immediately ahead of the International Order Book price format code revision and can be found at:

The CDS test service will be updated for the revised International Order Book price format codes from start of trading 13 September 2010.

If required, a final Service Announcement will be issued on 17 September 2010 providing any amendments or additions to details provided here.

Customers are advised to take either:

• Reference Data Changes on the evening prior to the effective date (the evening the changes are made); or

• Full Reference Data Download on the morning of the effective date
