First of all I would like to wish you all a happy new year and I hope you all had a great start to the year! I also hope you had a lovely and relaxing Christmas holiday and that you are now all geared up and ready for some learning Although we all thought we will be back in our jungle-themed classroom in January, we need to make sure that we put our safety first and we will have to wait a little bit longer for us to return. I know that learning from home is sometimes tricky but I know for sure that you will all manage! So let’s think about how we spend our mornings in class. We start off by listening to the hello song so make sure you have said good morning to your family. Then, look outside your window to check the weather. Once you do, it is important to close your eyes and think about how you are feeling. What zone are you in? If you’d like, you can write your name and why you’re feeling this way on . Introduction: Let’s start our Literacy lesson by revising our letter-writing. Take a paper and practise writing all the letters of the alphabet. You’re right, there are quite a few. However, very recently we celebrated the start of a new year and usually, there are firework displays in the sky. Think about the new year. Make sure it is not too easy or too difficult for you. The book may be from your collection at home or else online. Sit down and look at the cover of your book. What do you think about it? How does it make you feel about the book?Can you guess what will happen? Start reading the book. Take your time and remember how we break down the words in class and split them into smaller bits.
