Volunteer Opportunity Descriptions

Parking Attendant: Parking attendants will be responsible for helping guests park in one of our three lots; maximizing the use of all spaces; and directing guests from the parking lot to the entrance. Age Requirement: 16+ Special Requirements: Able to stand for extended periods of time.

Ticket Scanner: Ticket scanners will greet guests as they arrive to the event, check and scan tickets, and direct guests to the appropriate areas to purchase tickets or resolve ticket issues. Age Requirement: 16+

Merchandise Stand: Merchandise volunteers stationed at various locations will assist guests in finding correct sizes and items, answer questions about pricing and merchandise, and complete purchase transactions. There will be no cash handling; all purchases will be made by credit card. Age Requirements: 16+ Special Requirements: Able to stand for extended periods of time.

Attractions Operator: Attractions operators will be responsible for safely operating our two amusement rides, Lori's Magical Flight and Kelly's Sunny Swing. This includes loading and unloading of the attractions. Age Requirement: 18+ Special Requirement: Must be able to bend and lift 10 lbs.

Attractions Attendant: Attractions attendants will help guests load and unload from the attractions and make sure guests are safe while the attractions are running. Age Requirement: 16+ Special Requirement: Must be able to bend and lift 10 lbs.

Carousel Operator: Carousel operators will be responsible for safely operating the carousel for all guests? including loading and unloading the ride. Age Requirement: 18+ Special Requirement: Must be able to bend and lift 10 lbs.

Carousel Gate Keeper: Carousel gate keepers will welcome guests and ensure everyone is safe while the carousel is moving. Age Requirement: 16+ Special Requirement: Must be able to bend and lift 10 lbs.

Volunteer Opportunity Descriptions

Safety Streetmosphere: Safety Streetmosphere volunteers will be responsible for roaming throughout the Village to ensure guests are following proper safety protocols and assisting guests with directions or questions. Optional Village costumes will be available. Clothing sizes range from small to XX-large. Age Requirements: 16+ Special Requirements: Able to stand and walk for long periods of time.

Marc's Dino Putt: Marc's Dino Putt volunteers will be responsible for checking out putt putt golf equipment to guests, helping guests reserve tee times, and making sure items are returned. These volunteers are also responsible for keeping an eye on our model train room to ensure safety protocols are being followed. Age Requirement: 16+

Crowd Control: Located throughout the Village, security volunteers will be responsible for helping to maintain a safe environment for all guests. Duties include keeping guests from entering backstage areas and ensuring safety protocols are being followed. Age Requirement: 18+ Special Requirements: Able to stand and walk for long periods of time.

Concession Stand: Concession stand volunteers will be responsible for fulfilling guest orders, maintaining a clean area and assisting guests in flowing through the concessions area. Four (4) concession stands will be available: Hot food, pre-packaged ice cream, hot chocolate and prepackaged cookies. Volunteers will also help direct guests around the food and beverage area, and ensuring that areas are cleaned after guest use per our Covid-19 safety protocols. Age Requirement: 16+

Concession Stand Payment Table: Payment table volunteers will be responsible for entering guests' purchases into a point-of-sale system and collecting payments/completing transactions. All payments will be touchless; there will be no cash handling. Age Requirement: 18+

Quite Zone Attendant: The Quiet Zone Attendant is responsible for checking in and out sensory equipment and monitoring the capacity of the sensory space. This position will be located indoors and seating will be available. Age Requirement: 16+

Volunteer Opportunity Descriptions

Whack a Mole Operator: Have you ever wanted to run a carnival game. Well here is your chance. You will be responsible for collecting tickets, sanitizing the game, and facilitating the game play. Age Requirement: 16+

Whack a Mole Payment Table: Payment table volunteers will be responsible for entering guests' purchases into a point-of-sale system and collecting payments/completing transactions. All payments will be touchless; there will be no cash handling. You will also be responsible for handing out prizes to the winners of the game! Age Requirement: 18+
