Custom Report RequestRequestCreating a new custom report: Xcalibur Style Sample Report GridBackground informationWe need a report that identically mimics the output of the Xcalibur sample grid. An example of this is included (bounty.xls). In Xcalibur, the report is output in the Excel format. We have customers who use this report in conjunction with a LIMS system. There is a macro on the customer’s side that can mine the Xcalibur report and pull out the relevant data for input to the LIMS. The existing TF reports would require reprogramming of the customer’s macro, and would be too much work. The report must follow the exact same column order, and have each compound on its own tab.Report layoutSee bounty.xlsNote, there are NO graphics needed in this report.Detailed description of the data points For each compound (on each sheet), data can be divided into three sections. Header of the sheet:Compound Name: In Local Method view, Compounds tab > Identification tab > Compound columnNOTE: The compound name is shown in many places in TF. We need to be specific where the data comes from.CurveIndex: In Local Method view, Compounds > Calibration > Curve type column.Weighting Index: In Local Method view, Compounds > Calibration > Weighting column.Origin Index: In Local Method view, Compounds > Calibration > Origin column.Equation: The equation can be seen on top of Calibration Curve located in bottom right corner of Data View panel (if there are calibrators in the batch).Data grid - the main body of the report:Filename: This is the raw file name. It is shown in Filename column in Batch View’s sample grid.Sample Type: It is shown in Batch View > Sample type column.SampleName: It is shown in Batch View > Sample name column.Integ. Type: There is no direct mapping to TF data point because the manual integration in TF is associated with each compound. It’s my guess that this flag is set if any compound in the sample is manually integrated, right?Area: It is shown in Area column in Data Review panel for the selected sample and compound.ISTD Area: It is shown in IS Resp column in Data Review View panel (if the response type is area). Can we assume that it always uses area response type because I don’t see how to handle the case if the response type is height?Area Ratio: There is no such a data point in TF, but it can be calculated in Excel as Area / IS Area. Right?Specified Amount: It is shown in Theo Amt column in Data Review panel.Calculated Amount: It is shown in Calc Amt column in Data Review panel.%Diff: It is shown in % Diff column in Data Review panel.%RSD-Amt: It is shown in % RSD column in Data Review panel.Peak Status: This is derived from several fields. Show “Not Found” if peak is not found. Show “Response High” if ??? What are the other cases?Level: It is shown in Level column in Data Review panel.Units: It is shown in Local Method view, Compounds tab > Calibration tab > Units column.RT: It is shown in Actual RT column in Data Review panel.Sample ID: It is shown in Sample ID column in Data Review panel.Footer of the sheet:Created By: Leave empty?User Name: It is shown in Batch View header area in User: textbox (above the samples grid).FullName: There is no such a data point in TF. Use the same User Name as above or leave empty?Date: This is the current date/time when report is generated. Right?Special NotesMust have an Excel output of the report type.ContactEmail: abc@EnvironmentWindows Version:Excel Version:TraceFinder Software Version:Domain (General, EFS/Clinical Research, Forensic Toxicology): ................
