PRIVATE ATTORNEY – CLIENT SESSION

The Board will recess the public meeting and hold a private attorney-client session authorized by Section 286.011(8), Florida Statutes, to discuss pending litigation and to seek advice from the Board. The estimated length of the session is 30 minutes. The names of the persons attending the session are: Members of the School Board of St. Lucie County; Michael J. Lannon, Superintendent; J. Davis Richeson, Esq., Special Counsel, and Daniel B. Harrell, School Board Attorney. At the conclusion of the private attorney-client session, the Chair shall reopen the public meeting and publicly announce termination of the private session.

ADJOURNMENT

Note: If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the School Board regarding any matter considered at this meeting or hearing, he/she will need a record of the proceedings. For this purpose, an individual should ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, at his/her own expense, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based (Sec. 286.0105 F. S.). In compliance with ADA requirements, special needs can be reasonably accommodated by contacting the School Board of St. Lucie County at least ten (10) working days prior to the meeting.
